Good Bye January

A cold snowy day The minus 40 degree wind chill of earlier this week moderated into a mild just above freezing afternoon today and we were out running and walking in the neighborhood. Hello February.
Oh I know we will have much more snow and fluctuating temperatures. But it was mighty energizing to be outside in a lighter jacket.. without freezing my bones.

I always look at Feburary as the worse to come. Have you heard anything from mr. Groundhog?

Have to admit that in Minnesota we figure we're lucky if we get off with only 6 more weeks of winter. But still, February is moving closer to March??!!

Hi Sunshine...I tend to agree...it's closer to March... but even here in South Carolina we've had an icestorm in February. But February does have Valentine's Day and that's always a "warm" one :)

Groundhog or not, January is gone and that'll do! :)

I laughed when I read this - because on my drive home from Pilates, on icy streets, I was just thinking..."well, we're in February now, not too much more of this". Personally, I'm anxious for the mornings to get lighter - I'm tired of running in the dark.
