Though I would not be thrilled with indoor races, I would be thrilled with shorts and singlets! I am currently wearing two shirts, arm warmers, gloves, hats, tights and a raincoat. Occasionally it feels warm enough to wear one shirt. Of course, this is nothing compared to what you would need to run outside!

What race was this? What a good idea though! Give you something to look forward to other than cold and ice and snow. Shorts! Yay!

Nice!

I wish I had an indoor track instead of the treadmill. I feel like a hampster in a wheel - working hard and going nowhere! LOL

Great photos Sunshine!

I took a gander and all the prior posts too -- I love the nature photos (snow and birds) and the snowflakes are beautiful.

I may do the Frozen 5k too -- I have some friends doing the 1/2. I'm not that crazy/ambitious to train that much in the flipping freezing weather.

I wish I had an indoor track around where I live to run on. I have a hard time getting on that treadmill!

thanks for checking in on me. I am having some weird weird illness, I've been coming down with it for several days and didn't know it. Hopefully blog a little tomorrow. The normally childhood illness of Fifths Disease is the docs best guess of what I have. Every joint in my body is swollen and hurting. Before that I had 4 days of headaches. It hasn't been fun, but I am hoping that is all it is... the alternatives are not pretty either. This at least goes away. Thanks again for checking in on me. :D
