How lovely! I used to see egrets doing the same along a bike path that I ran on often a few years back. Nice to hear you're still running outdoors.

Nice picture. I understand (from cewtwo's blog) you're engaged in bathroom re-modeling. I had a plumber over last week, at 7:30 a.m. Basically for a drip, a leak and a slow faucet. He left at 1:30 p.m. with my check for $1300 (he did a good job but yikes!). This old house!

Glad the autumn is still letting you stay outdoors. Lovely picture.

I think of you as I run. The weather is great this time of year. I think of running at the river, but don't. I don't think that I could see the assignations of nature if I did. My mind is elsewhere. Maybe it is the taper, maybe not.

You are an inspiration to others, though. Thanks for seeing beyond the moment!

Good luck at TCM. I like to think I did my part and am blameless for the current mess b/c in 2004, I electioneered for 4 1/2 hours in downtown Minneapolis/St. Paul, running the TCM marathon in the then-swing state of MN wearing my COTTON Kerry t-shirt (yes I sacrificed). MN went blue too. A guy fell in with me at the end in a shirt that said "MN-Swing State my Ass" showing a donkey for democratic. Of course, I should have run in the COLUMBUS marathon that year, b/c they stole it in Ohio that time.

Good luck to you at TCM on Sunday. That's the same day I'll be running the Maine Marathon so I'll think of you. Thanks for the sweet comment on my blog!
