Running Outdoors in January ..... Epiphany: the Light Shines!

Above freezing both afternoons this weekend, most of the ice has melted off the streets, and we were
outdoors running. The forecast for Monday is freezing rain. More winter is an absolute. Back to indoor running this week.

hands on trains At the Minnesota Model Train Museum in Bandana Square in St. Paul, there are toy trains for visitors to play with.

How appropriate! When Don and I were at the mall yesterday, we got to see the train display just before they took it down. A fabulous collection of trains, cars, and other memorabilia from decades past. The family that puts on this display was taking it down as we made our way around the mall.I was sorry we hadn't gotten there sooner. And yes, I know that continuing winter is an absolute.

I think it's great that you keep going no matter what the weather throws at you. Way to go!

Oh, yes Little 2X4 was pretty engrossed with the trains. But he did understand "closing time" when it was explained to him.

Minnesota Model Train Museum. I want to go there! Having three boys in 4 years, at one time about twenty years ago I had just about every piece there was of those long, narrow wooden tracks with the hook on one end and the eye on the other. Oh the circular layouts I built with JJ&D (Jimmy, Johnny & Danny)!
