Temperature in the low 50's and not humid: our kind of running weather. Today we walked/ran 8 2/3 miles... a good amount to keep ready for a race on Sunday. Tomorrow we will do just a quick one mile out and back before Sweet Pea's tutor comes.
And it was a glorious day... The autumn leaves at their finest were aglow in sunshine.

WOW...great photo. :) That really shows why it's so wonderful to run in the fall.
Nice pictures! Too bad that train is soon going to make its last run, but you'll get a nice running trail out of it. The best trails around here are old railroad beds, and they get heavily used, the W&OD a forty mile trail right behind my house in Virginia, and the Northern Central Trail up north of Baltimore running into PA. My sister has a yarn shop in St. Paul, Borealis on Thomas Avenue, if you knit check it out!
Gateway Trail, which runs from downtown St. Paul NE for 18 miles, was an old railroad bed. We have such mixed feelings because we love trains and we love to run.
Haven't knitted for a long time, but will definitely stop in at Borealis sometime soon.. and will recommend it.
Awesome photo.
Beautiful pics! I'll have to visit someday.
