Sunday noon ... 5.25 miles on county park trails ... 70 degrees and 15 - 18 mph breeze.
The ever popular... poison ivy ... right beside the trail in some of the wooded area. I have been extremely sensitized to poison ivy and am always on the look-out.
In the afternoon we finished the Family Means (Stillwater) Garden Tour.
BE SURE TO READ THIS amazing account of a week on the Colorado River in the Grand Canyon on this site: http://dcspinster.blogspot.com/

You always have the most amazing photos of nature!
What a perfect place for a run. Well, except for the poison ivy. Absolutely beautiful pictures.
I read Peter's account of his trip and it really was incredible.
Thanks for the shout-out. It was an amazing trip. I recommend a trip to the Grand Canyon to anyone. And to think that in the 60s, they tried their best to fill it up with water by placing five dams. We can thank the Sierra Club that they only got two in place. Poison Ivy. I too am allergic to it. Once I got poison ivy on poison ivy, new blisters on older extant blisters. It was miserable. I like your new profile picture, but you always photograph well.
I think you should be on your local Chamber of Commerce's payroll! Your photos make me want to fly to Minnesota immediately! Great posts, too.
Speaking of which, I loved your "random ideas about health" post. I (totally!) agree with trying to find gentler ways of dealing with certain health conditions, whenever possible of course.
Thanks for shining on us!

Beautiful pictures. Reminds me of Little House on the Prairie.
great photos as usual!
FINALLY, I know what poison ivy looks like. Good to know for those woodland potty breaks... not that I ever take them....
Great day for a run! And cute photos!
Oh dear, the dreaded leaves of three! Yes, a definite hazard on the trail. The other photos are quite lovely, though. This is the time of year I'm greatly envious of your weather.
Well, Shirley, some days our weather is enviable.. but today wasn't particularly one of those... with 89 degrees, gross humidity and no breeze ... Possible scattered thunderstorms all day tomorrow and Thursday.
But we will watch the radar and run between the storms!!
beautiful photos!!!
