Columbus Day 3 inch Snow

Same tree pictured in the previous post.. but 2 days later.

I ran for 30 seconds yesterday, and my knee felt magically totally normal for the first time since I crashed it in a race nearly 6 months ago. It DIDN'T hurt, and I am so ready to run.

We drove through the snow to get some groceries this morning... and there were rows and rows of Christmas lights and decorations. What month is this again?

This is all very confusing, no?

CONGRATS on the 1/2 minute run! Just wait till spring, which will be -- next week????

Oh yes, Amybee, I hope so!

Thanks to you both for encouragement.

Ack! Too soon for snow or Christmas! I've barely begun to let go of summer.

Wonderful news about your knee - hope it continues to do so well.

I'm so excited to hear that you had some running with NO knee pain!!!

Hopefully there'll be more of that with each day. But I can't believe you guys already have snow and Xmas stuff out in the stores. Maybe it's because of the snow?

Maybe the knee likes the cold weather? Good thing we are in Minnesota! I find the weather very confusing.

Yes, I do believe winter will be a long and cold one this year. Snowy too. Its already starting for you! But its been unseasonably cold here most of the year. Good to hear from you and see that you are still getting out there. This weekend: Grand Rapids Marathon/Half.

we had snow here too. I made a snow ball bc I couldn't believe it and ran with it in my hand.
Hey, so 30 seconds or was it 30 min? either way, if it felt good, that is great news! Go for it....carefully.

So glad to read your knee is behaving itself and let you run for a while. This shows your patience has at last been rewarded.
Oh well done.
