MN Theater of Seasons

Weather is not boring here!!
At 8am yesterday.. cloudy on the way over to the community center
Left our bags in lockers and walked upstairs to the track...
and huge fluffy flakes of snow were pouring out of the clouds.

As we ran, snow piled up on the window sill.

The track is a rectangle with rounded, banked corners.
Sweet Pea and I, for 4 miles, did our usual pattern of walking one of the long sides and the ends and
running one of the long sides.
Yesterday we did 4 miles... 13 1/2 laps per mile.

Snow changed to pouring rain on the way home.

Later.. suddenly .. at about 5pm, with thunder and lightning, little pellets of hail crashed down...
and piled up at the bottom of downspouts from the roof.
I love this crazy variety!
What a best day!

I am noticing a lot of weird weather in this country lately. I am so over with the winter right now. I am thinking of S-P-R-I-N-G! Glad you had a good run indoor when the weather was crazy.

Beautiful picture of the woodpecker. You have a great attitude towards the weather. I find myself frustrated... feels like we are going backwards. I'll try to follow your lead and try to appreciate it.

It is best not to be too attached to any one weather type there, isn't it? Lovely woodpecker photo. I saw the most beautiful bright blue little bird yesterday but couldn't capture it on film. Kudos to Sweet Pea for being such a good photographer!

Total craziness! They are actually predicting 6-8 inches (with 20 whispered) here next week.

you almost had it all in one day!

The best part about that kind of weather is being indoors to witness it!

Wow, certainly does sound like a performance by Mother Nature!

And 13.5 laps to a mile? Way to go around and around.

What a beautiful bird. Hope the snow if behind you for the rest of the year.
