Get Your Rear in Gear 5K yesterday in Minneapolis.
My mother died of colon cancer nearly 30 years ago... back in the dark ages when her complaints of symptoms were ignored and devalued by her doctor.
Today getting a colonoscopy is a sensible screening for everyone.
We have started several races in light rain.. and continued to the 26.2 finish, but yesterday the temp was in the low 40's. Too cold to get wet!
We drove over to Southdale in the rain, picked up our very nice light gray, short sleeved technical shirts and drove back home in the rain to eat breakfast.

fitting name for race. sorry you did'nt get to run.
I think you had the right idea... get the t-shirt, stay out of the rain and have breakfast. There's always another race!
Looks like a nice race for a good cause. And you will love that shirt. I don't blame you for not wanting to run in cold rain.
Always great to support a great cause. You did the right thing though...running in the cold rain is not good...
A wise choice, to wait for another, better day to race.
