Bless the volunteers!!!
Last year they struggled to get enough water out there ... with runners pouring cups of water over their hot heads...
This year they endured the rain pouring on their own heads...
And still they were out there. Hurrah for the faithful spectators, too.

Those are cool and unique medals in the previous post! Congrats on finishing, and you're right, volunteers are the best.
Indeed, I've always thought it was harder to be a volunteer than to run a marathon. Kudos to them!!
Congrats to the three of you for your marathon finish last weekend. And I agree, volunteers rock!!
