UV Rays and Sunglasses

Today we were out in the neighborhood, wearing sunglasses to protect our eyes from UV rays and delay the progression of cataracts.

Now I can think of benefits of the indoor track: no need to wear sunglasses and always near the water supply.
This past week a runner was attacked running around a St. Paul lake... so there is that issue, too.

BUT WOW!! TODAY IT WAS IN THE 50's and it was GREAT BEING OUTDOORS!!

Afternoon snack: peanut butter, Brazel nuts, celery, apple, banana.
I like bananas chilled.

Wow - it was warmer there than it is here in NC. (I don't think that happens often. :D) Glad you got to run outside. Have a great week!

I like my bananas chilled too. Cool shades.

I'm always saddened to hear of a runner attacked. It serves as a good reminder to the rest of us that you are never truly safe out there, but it's at someone else's expense.

Oh, so sorry to hear about the attack on the runner. Unfortunately, they happen much too often in Orlando. Glad you were able to enjoy the outdoors, though. Be safe!

Today I left the Ipod home. I've decided I'm not taking any chances even with running without the buds in my ear.

sunglasses what a wonderful feeling that must have been.

I'm so sorry I missed your New Years wishes - Happy belated New Year to you too!!!! I'm still kind of waiting for 09 to start, though I've managed to write the date correctly so far, so on some level I must be getting it :-). You know I've never in my life tried a chilled banana!? that's one on the to do list!!
Take care precious!!! :-)
