Running on the trail

One of our favorite spectators.. or maybe we are spectators of the cat? Not always lying around, this cat is the same cat we observed one day with mouse in mouth!
This is not our kitty... Ours is safe at home in the house.

Seldom a boring day:

You seem to encounter the most amazing things on your runs. This one looks right out of the wild west.

Ditto, Anne!

Hmm, this is not something I'll probably see during the indoor marathon. Quite the sight, though!

Nice pics. The cat seems to enjoy watching the world go by.

It is fun to observe things 'on the run.' During my bicycle cross training yesterday, I saw rabbits, mice, Canadian geese, ducks and a cormorant or 2.

What fun is that?

I have a cat that lives in my yard. (I live alone in a house.) Whenever I get in my car he runs out from under it and into the bushes. I see him in the fringes of the back yard when I come home sometimes. Although I carefully do not feed it, he has lived there, semi-wild, for several years. The one thing he didn't like was when I inadvertently shut him up in my garage once (he streaked out of there when I re-opened the door a week later). I loved the pix of those wild turkeys.

Oh, I'm so glad that I came across you on Steve in a Speedo's blog!

I just love your photo journal while you are running. Lovely!

This is a very pretty photo, and not unlike our little village.
How nice it is to notice and enjoy the wonderful beauty around us - Best Wishes to you.
