Autumn?

Minnesota State Fair starts today.

Tuesday on the Trail we saw summac turning red...

And a few leaves collecting at the edges of the Trail.

Sweet Pea is pretty reactive to wasp stings.. and it seems to be wasp stinging season... but fortunately we ran into no wasps.
Including the two miles (out and back from the house) today, Sweet Pea and I logged 27.7 miles for the week ending tomorrow.

Our current favorite race food... so delicious it is incentive to go out for a run.
Pamela's dark chocolate chocolate chunk cookies; wheat free, gluten free, non-dairy, 89% organic.

Oh red summac so soon, darn.

You know fall is on its way when the wasps start to swarm.

Now, that's what I call health food!

Autumn? did you even have a summer!! the seasons are too short in Minnesota, but I'm sure this is the best time of the year for you.

Signs of fall there already? My my, but you really do have short summers up there. At least cooler running weather is also just around the corner. And no wasps!

It is hard to believe that the State Fair has arrived.

Summer flew by!

I haven't seen any evidence of leaves turning -- yet.

Thank you for your nice note about Gorby...

Nooooooooo! It's still summer, promise me, it's still summer!

Haven't seen that brand around here. I'll have to go hunting for it.

I didn't want to think it either, but I saw the sumac and some leaves off the trees already here and tons of goldenrod (ragweed). You can always tell it is August. And now they are predicting a colder than usual winter??

No, not a colder than normal winter??!! I had not heard that.
